Nitya & Her Furry Friend

In a quaint little town, there lived a little girl named Nitya. Nitya was known for her kind heart and adventurous spirit.

Every day, after school, she would walk home with her dad, chatting about their day and enjoying the warm afternoon sun.

One sunny afternoon, as Nitya and her dad strolled along the familiar path home, they spotted a small puppy limping by the side of the road. Nitya's heart sank at the sight of the injured puppy. Without hesitation, she rushed to its side, her dad following closely behind.

Gently, Nitya examined the puppy's leg and noticed a small cut. Determined to help, she rummaged through her school bag and found a piece of cloth to use as a bandage. With her dad's help, she carefully cleaned the wound and wrapped the cloth around the puppy's leg, securing it with a gentle knot.

The puppy whimpered softly as Nitya tended to its injury, but soon its eyes sparkled with gratitude. From that moment on, the puppy followed Nitya and her dad home, wagging its tail in appreciation.

As days passed, Nitya and the puppy formed a special bond. After school, Nitya would eagerly rush to play with her new friend, who had become her constant companion on the walk to and from school. They would chase each other through the fields, play hide-and-seek among the trees, and share secrets whispered in the afternoon breeze.

But one day, as Nitya walked home from school, she noticed something was amiss. The puppy was nowhere to be seen. Panic gripped her heart as she searched frantically for her furry friend.

Finally, she reached her neighbour’s house and saw the puppy frolicking in the yard with the neighbour’s children. Relief flooded over her, but a pang of sadness tugged at her heart as she watched the puppy happily playing with his new family.

However, as soon as the puppy caught sight of Nitya, he bounded over to her, showering her with joyful barks and wagging his tail furiously. Nitya's sadness melted away as she hugged the puppy tightly, feeling his warm fur against her cheek.

The neighbors, delighted to see the bond between Nitya and the puppy, invited her to play with him whenever she wanted. From that day on, Nitya, her friends from the neighbourhood and the puppy continued their adventures together, exploring the world around them with hearts full of love and friendship.

And so, in that little town, amidst the laughter and joy of newfound friendship, Nitya and the puppy proved that love knows no boundaries, and true friends always find their way back to each other.
