It had rained quite a bit and little Anya couldn’t get wet.

So she made a little paper boat and set it off on a rivulet.

The paper boat drifted along as the rivulet became a stream.

And passed a big furry cat who was licking milk and cream.

As the stream went forward, a grandpa waved at the paper boat.

And soon the paper boat passed a big, burly goat.

The goat was next to a milk van parked on the side.

The milkman saw the paper boat and checked if his bag had dried.

A big rat saw the paper boat while eating a block of cheese,

As the paper boat got pushed along with the help of a gentle breeze.

The paper boat kept going and soon passed under a bridge.

A boy peeked down to see the boat while thinking of cake in his fridge!

A flower floated on the breeze and landed on the boat.

The paper boat looked pretty now as it passed a boy who wrote.

The stream was getting lighter now and the paper boat came to a halt.

The boat patiently waited next to a fallen shaker of salt.

Another little girl named Tanya saw the paper boat on dry ground.

She picked it up with glee and took it home to keep safe and sound!

And that’s how the little paper boat went from one little girl to another.

A happy day spent floating through town without a single bother!

The End.
